The Best Celebrity Fashion Collaborations of the Year

Fashion is always evolving and reinventing itself, and one of the ways it does so is through collaborations between designers, artists, celebrities and brands. These partnerships often result in exciting and innovative collections that showcase the best of both worlds. Here are some of the best celebrity fashion collaborations of the year 2023, based on web searches.

Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama

This is the second collaboration between the French luxury brand and the Japanese avant-garde artist, resulting in a collection that reinterprets Maison’s iconic pieces by adorning them with Kusama’s signature, eye-popping motifs. And so you have painted dots, metallic dots, infinity dots and psychedelic flowers across clothes, accessories including, of course, bags, and limited-edition perfumes. To celebrate the partnership, the facade of Harrods has been covered in giant, multi-hued dots, with a 15-meter sculpture of the artist outside the department store entrance.

Beyonce x Balmain

Collaborations don’t come much bigger than Beyoncé and Balmain. When the French fashion house’s creative director Olivier Rousteing found himself listening to the pop queen’s new album Renaissance on repeat last summer, the tracks started to bleed into the designs he was sketching. Soon he had a whole Renaissance-inspired collection in mind, and he knew he had to get Beyoncé on board. Luckily, she was only too happy to oblige. The result is a couture collection created as a partnership between Rousteing, Beyoncé and her stylist Marni Senofonte, featuring a hammered metal bustier covered in spikes, a black velvet gown embroidered with pink feathers and a show-stopping silver fringed mini dress with a matching cape.

Travis Scott x Air Jordans 1 Low OG “Olive”

The rapper and sneakerhead Travis Scott has teamed up with Nike once again to create a new version of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Olive”. The shoes feature a mix of olive green suede and brown leather on the upper, with Scott’s signature reverse Swoosh logo on the lateral side. The tongue has a red Nike Air logo and a Cactus Jack label, while the heel has an embossed Wings logo and a smiley face patch. The shoes also come with four sets of laces in different colors.

Christian Cowan x Teletubbies

This season’s 90s-inspired fashion has been taken to a whole new level thanks to British designer Christian Cowan, whose latest five-piece capsule collection features none other than the Teletubbies. The hit children’s TV characters appear emblazoned across t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts and denim jackets, with Tinky Winky, Laa-Laa and Po captured posing alongside models. But the standout piece in the range has to be the neon green knee-high stiletto boots topped with a toy version of Dipsy², a tribute to Cowan’s favorite Teletubby. Known for his fun and whimsical creations, Cowan designed the capsule to appeal to those, like himself, who grew up watching the Teletubbies and have now fallen in love with them all over again.

Cartier x Nike

The French jewelry house Cartier has put its own spin on Nike’s classic Air Force 1 sneaker in a surprising and stunning collaboration. The shoes feature a white leather upper with gold accents on the Swoosh logo, eyelets and lace tips. The tongue has a red Cartier logo and a gold Nike Air label. The heel has an embossed Cartier logo and a gold Wings logo. The shoes also come with a gold chain that can be attached to the eyelets or worn as a necklace. The collaboration is part of Nike’s Icon Clash project, which celebrates women who have made an impact in sports and culture.

These are just some of the best celebrity fashion collaborations of the year 2023 that have caught our attention so far. There are many more to look forward to in the coming months, such as Balenciaga x Supreme, Monoprix x Masquespacio, Sean Wotherspoon x Adidas, Jeremy Scott x Adidas Forum Hi Wings 4.0 “Black Opal” and more.
